The Class of 1988 crest expresses a comprehensive, and at times conflicting, theme of faith in self, Air Force Academy, Air Force, nation and God to achieve a fearless approach to the uncertain future. As the 30th class to graduate (see the XXX), the underpinning of USAFA ethics and values will sustain in the face of challenge. (third party entry)
